Roger D. Yoder, 78, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday at the Harrisburg Hospital.
 
Born in Clarks Valley, July 30, 1936, a son of the late Bruce and Flossie Adams Yoder.
 
Roger was a 1954 graduate of Tower City High School.   He was a United States Army Veteran.
 
He was a retired psychiatric nursing assistant from the  Lebanon V.A. Medical Center.
 
Roger was a member of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin; Orwin and Brown Township Fire Companies and the Lebanon County Beagle Club.
 
Rogers life revolved around his family.  He was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoyed hunting, spending time at this camp at Cedar Run  and watching his beagles chase rabbits.  He took great pride in his flower gardens.
 
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Kay L. Bailey Yoder; his sons, Kyle R. Yoder (Nancy); Darin L. Yoder (Lauren) and Bart A. Yoder (Jodie); his six grandchildren he adored, Beau, Kailee, Connor, Joshua, Drew and Jackson. a sister, Dawn Rothermel (Roger);  Several nieces and nephews.
 
Memorial services will be held Saturday,  December 13th at 11:00 am from St. Peter's United Church of Christ with Revs. Carl Jones and Edward Gobrecht.  Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to St. Peter's U.C.C. 427 Dietrich Avenue, Tower City PA 17980.
