Shirley J. Fry, 73, of Tower City, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday morning.
Born in Lykens, October 7, 1941, a daughter of the late Floyd and Florence Batdorf Sultzbaugh.
Shirley was a graduate of the Upper Dauphin High School.
She was formerly a bus driver for the Williams Valley School District and also with Tobias Animal Farm. She also worked as an aide at local nursing homes.
She was of the Protestant faith; enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was that of being a mom and "mammal".
She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Sultzbaugh and a sister Janet Norris.
Surviving are her children, Sheri Gonder, Williamstown; Diane Keister (Rich), Wiconisco; Dave Fry (Linda), Shamokin and Kurt Fry (Tammy) Wiconisco; a brother, Terry Sultzbaugh, Towanda; sister, Kathy Koppenhaver, Wiconisco; Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren she adored.
Memorial services will be held Friday, August 7th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Lori Betsworth. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 am at the chapel.
