Stephen T. Rhody, 54, of Williamstown, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning in Tower City.

Born in Pottsville, June 1, 1962, a son of David  Sr., "Sam"  and Rose Ruch Rhody, Tower City.

Steve proudly served his country for over 19 years with National Guard, being deployed twice to Iraq.

He was presently employed by Sterman Masser, Inc. Hegins.

He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin; Tower City American Legion, Williamstown VFW and the Tower City Loyal Order of Moose.

Steve was predeceased by his brother, David Rhody, Jr., 2000.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughter, Angel M. Rhody, Williamstown; a sister, Jeannie Fessler (Edward), Pine Grove.  Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy. Burial with military honors will be in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.
