Terry E. Machamer, Sr., 74, of Tower City, passed away Tuesday at Manor Care, Pottsville.
 
Born in Wiconisco, March 9, 1941, a son of the late Charles and Lois Carl Machamer.
 
Terry was a 1959 graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.
 
He was a National Guard Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
 
He retired in 1998 from Caroline Freight Trucking.
 
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin; the Williamstown American Legion; Orwin Gun Club; Orwin Fire Company and the Pumpkin Hill Conservation Club.
 
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn Snody Machamer, 1988; two brothers, Charles Machamer and William Carl.
 
Surviving are his children, Kathryn E. Reed, Terry Machamer, Jr. both of Tower City and Craig Machamer, Lebanon; four grandchildren, Aleshia, Kayla, Bryan and Karl;  seven great grandchildren; a sister, Donna Miller, Muir and a brother, William Machamer, Hershey.  Nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Services will be private.   Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Williamstown American Legion 123 W.
