Vincent Osag, 95, of Williamstown, passed away Monday morning at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Csaszlocz, Hungary, January 20, 1921, a son of the late John and Mary Poloncsak Osag.
Vince proudly served his country during WW II with the United States Army Air Corps.
He retired from the United States Naval Supply Depot, Philadelphia. Vince also worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown and a life member of the Williamstown American Legion.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Thelma Thompson Osag, 2002; a grandson, Christopher Osag and a brother John Osag.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Slaybaugh (Jerre), Harrisburg; two sons, Timothy Osag (Sandra), Denver, CO. and Richard Osag, Williamstown; two sisters, Mary Underkoffler, Williamstown and Margaret Turns, Palmyra; four grandchildren and a great grandson; a dear friend, Pauline Wonsock, Mahanoy City, Several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, July 15th at 10 am from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown with Rev. C. Anthony Miller as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-10 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Sacred Heart Church, c/o Parish Office, 732 Main Street, Lykens, PA 17048 or the Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market Street, Williamstown, PA 17098.
