Anna M. Hoffman, 87, of Pitman, passed away Thursday at the Geisinger Medical Center.

Born in Muir, July 5, 1930, a daughter of the late Howard and Anna Shutt Ruch.

Anna was retired seamstress from the garment industry.

She was a member of the Salem Church of Rough and Ready; Gratz VFW Auxiliary, Valley View Gun Club; Valley View VFW;  Valley View Legion, Pitman, Valley View and Hegins Fire Companies and the Tower City Moose Lodge

Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed.  

She was predeceased by her husband, David, 1982; her companion,  John Wertz, 2001 a son George Hoffman, 1980;

Surviving are two daughters, Debra Bowman; Valley View; Julie Lutz, Klingerstown; four sons, Lee Ruch, Tremont; John Hoffman, Hegins; Glenn and David Hoffman, both of Pitman.; two sisters, Stella Bixler, Sacramento and Mary Cinqmars, Williamstown; a brother, Franklin "Hick" Ruch, Tower City;    19 Grandchildren   33 Great Grandchildren  2  Great Great Grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 7th at 7 pm from the Salem Church of Rough and Ready, with Rev.
