Anna Marie Kimmel, 81, of Donaldson, passed away Tuesday at the Lehigh Valley Hospital  Schuylkill - East, Pottsville.

Born in Donaldson, April 10, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Long.

Anna Marie was a graduate of the former Tremont High School. She worked as a seamstress from the former Donaldson Manufacturing Company, she also worked for the Tremont Pharmacy.

She was of the Lutheran Faith; a member of the Donaldson Fire Company Auxiliary and the Shellsville VFW Auxiliary  She was an active member of the Schuylkill County Republican Committee.      

She enjoyed hunting, flee markets and spending time with her family and her dog Maddie.  She was well known throughout the community and was a loyal friend to many.   She will be remembered for being a devoted caregiver to her mother, husband and companion Joel.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Kimmel, July 14, 1991

Surviving are her two sons, Laine Gehres (Karen), Llewellyn and William Kimmel II (Wendy), Hegins; two grandsons, Scott Gehres (Jaime), Lancaster and William "Willie" Kimmel, III, Hegins; two great grandchildren, Cody and Jordyn Gehres;  one brother, Robert Long, Pine Grove.  Many dear friends including, Linda and Mark Kroh and Diane Heinbach.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 19th at 11:00 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City. Burial will be in the Donaldson Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11   at the chapel.
