Dave was the BEST!! I knew Dave for almost 50 years and found him to be honest, thrust worthy and a great leader. We served together through thick and thin, hot and cold, wet and dry. He was always one to have a great story to tell if times were not that great, to up lift your spirts and laugh. We are going to miss him every year the group gets together and will tell his funny stories to each other when we need comfort in what is happening in our lives as we grow older. Judi always went to Dave and he always gave her a great big hug to make her feel special, that was the man Dave was. Sorely missed already. Take care, Pap!!!

To Dave's Family, I hadn't seen Dave for many years due to distance. I had the opportunity to visit with him at our last Army reunion in July and it was great! As he was cutting the tomatoes and onions for the burgers, he shared with me how thankful he was for all the treatment he was getting. I'm glad I went to the reunion and had the opportunity to see my driver and right hand man once again. My prayers and condolences.
