Dennis C. "Dimey" Hand, 85, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital - East, Pottsville.

Born in Muir, September 28, 1931, a son of the late Clarence and Elsie Reibsane Hand.

Dimey was a graduate of the former Porter Township High School.   He was  a United States Air Force Veteran of Korean War.

He retired as a tool and die repairman from the former AMP, Inc., Williamstown.

He was a member of the Williamstown American Legion, Williamstown Liberty Hose Company #1.  He also formerly served on the Williamstown Borough Council.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Shadle Hand; six children, Kathy Ritzman (James), Tower City; Kim Jansen (Dave), Muir; Gregory Hand (Beverly), Williamstown; Gary Hand (Lori), Tower City; Brian Hand (Dana), Florida and Bruce Hand (Terri), Pine Grove.  16 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren.   He is also survived by his beloved dog, Willy.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc.
