George E. Buggy, 87, of Williamstown, passed away Monday evening.
Born in Williamstown, April 15, 1930, a son of the late Joseph and Myrl Whitman Buggy.
George was a 1948 graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School; He was Army veteran of the Korean War
He was a retired computer programmer from the New Cumberland Army Depot
George was a life long Notre Dame fan.
A member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown and the Knights of Columbus, Lykens; A life member of the Williamstown American Legion; Williamstown Liberty Hose Company and the Williamstown V.F.W.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Charles, infant brothers, James and John Buggy; two sisters, Loretta Williams and Gloria Lenker.
He is survived by a sister, Arlene McDonald, New Jersey; Numerous nieces and nephews including, Monica and David Williams.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, November 10th at 11:00 am from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown with Rev. Michael Opoki as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W.
