Kathy A. Peters, 57, of Clarks Valley Road, Tower City, passed away Wednesday at the Osteopathic Hospital after a very brief illness of less than three weeks.
Born in Hershey, August 4, 1961, a daughter of the late Clarence and Anne King Belleman.
Kathy attended Hershey High School and graduated in 1981 from the Dauphin County Technical School.
She was employed for many years as a school bus driver with Jecks Transportation and more recent Ravine Transportation with the Williams Valley School District. Her enjoyment of being a school bus driver and being with the students was evident, driving as recent as this past Friday. She had also been employed by Chartwells at the Williams Valley Cafeteria.
Kathy recently became a member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont, attending mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel, Tower City.
Family was everything to her, she was extremely proud of her sons and her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her boys growing up and following them in their Sprint Car races. She loved taking vacations with her family.
She had a passion for being in the outdoors, nature, and crafting.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Frank A. Peters; two sons, Terry Peters and his wife Ashley and Frank Peters II, both of North Carolina. Her beloved two grandchildren she adored, Lucas and Haley Peters. Her siblings, Clarence, Richard, Sam, Carol and Gerry Belleman; Nancy Donor and Patricia Books. Nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, November 13th at 10:00 am from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, 840 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA with Rev. Jason Stokes as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9-10 at the church. In memory of Kathy, plant a flower in a garden or make a donation to a wildlife federation.
