Mae I. Kocher, 84, of Tremont, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening at the Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg.
 
Born in Pine Grove, July 12, 1933, a daughter of the late Harry and Anne Shollenberger Zerbe.
 
Mae was a retired cook, last working at the former Family and Friends Restaurant, Williamstown.
 
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont. 
 
Mae's entire life revolved around her family.   She enjoyed cooking,  quilting and knitting.
 
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Scott Kocher; two brothers and five sisters.
 
Surviving are her five children; Karen Thompson (Charlie), South Carolina; Keith Kocher (Diane), Tower City; Kevin Kocher (Debbie), Tremont; Kenneth Kocher (Marie), New York and Karla Kocher, Tremont. Five grandchildren, Kathy Miller, Keith Jr., Phillip and Patrick Kocher and Britani Vance; five great grandchildren, Kyrsten and Kole Miller; Killian, Sloan and Owen Kocher. 
 
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City, with Pastor Annette Shutt.  Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the chapel.   In lieu of flowers memorial donations could be made to the American Kidney Foundation,  900 S.
