Marcella R. Evans, 85, of Orwin, passed away Tuesday at her home with her family by her side.
 
Born in Orwin, October 31, 1931, a daughter of the late Harry and Grace Steily Kissinger.
 
Marcella was an active member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin, where she was a member of the ladies aide and a former member of the consistory.  She was always willing to lend a hand wherever needed.
 
Marcella's life revolved around her family and her church.  She  enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving, wife, mother and nana.
 
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Harvey, 2009; two sisters, Lucille Reed and Janice Shade.
 
Surviving are her three daughters, Sandy wife of James Gibson; Karen wife of Robert Stakem both of Orwin; Debra wife of Richard Speraw, Myerstown; One brother, Terry Kissinger, Herndon; Five grandchildren, Natalie Leiter, Bob Jr. and Adam Stakem; Ricky and Josh Speraw.  Nine Great Grandchildren.  Niece and nephews.
 
Funeral services will he held Friday, August 11th at 11:00 am from St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Viewing will be from 10-11 at the church.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to St. Peter's UCC, 427 Dietrich Avenue, Orwin PA 17980 or Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.   Dimon Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.   To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
