Robert W. Kreiser, Sr.

Robert W. Kreiser, Sr., 88, of Muir, passed away Friday afternoon at his home.

Born in Pine Grove, June 6, 1930, a son of the late Frank and Martha Ney Kreiser.

He was of the Lutheran Faith.

Bob was retired from the former TRW, Harrisburg.  He also worked for for Reading Body Works and Don's Food Rite.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially going to camp hunting bear, deer and spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, William Kreiser; five brothers, Donald, Hal, Earl, Edward and Kenneth.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Ruby Hoffman Strauser Kreiser; his four children, Robert Kreiser Jr., (Debbie), Orwin; Carol Stoneroad (Randy), Joliett; Lori Rabuck (Mark), Tower City and Brian Strauser (Elsie), Pine Grove; 4 grandchildren; one brother, Norman Kreiser, Pine Grove and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Chaplain David Borton. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.  Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.
