Rodney W. Fetterhoff, Sr., 64, of Tower City, passed away Monday, November 18th at his home with his wife by his side.
Born in Pottsville, August 17, 1955, a son of the late Rowland and Dorothy Laing Fetterhoff.
Rod was employed by Ash Industries, where he was a heavy equipment operator.
He was of the Protestant faith; a member of Brookside Hunting Club. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially when he was hunting and fishing. He looked forward to having coffee with his friends every morning. If a joke was to be told or a prank to be pulled, you had to look no further then Rod.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Lubold Fetterhoff, 2013 and a sister Christine Harner, 2019.
Surviving are his wife, Carole T. Lavoie Fetterhoff; four sons, Rodney Jr., (Renee); Robert (Virginia); Michael (Justine) all of Tower City; Jason (Bridget), Lykens; a step son, Nathan Bach (Kristen), Tower City; two sisters, Sandy Bender and Terri Fetterhoff, both of Muir; His grandchildren, Cheyenne, Isabelle, Lakota, Adriena. Olivia, Lane, Jamey, Kace and Ryker. Nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Rod's life will be held Saturday, November 23rd at 1:00 pm from the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Annette Shutt. Visitation will be from 12:30 -1:00 pm at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 644 E. Grand Ave. Tower City PA 17980 to help with expenses.
