To Be Absent From The body is to Be Present With the Lord

Ruth E. Keeney, 100, of  Camp Hill, formerly of Williamstown, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill with her daughter Jane by her side.

Born in Orwin, March 1, 1917, a daughter of the late William and Susan Hearter Behney.

Ruth attended the former Porter Township High School.    

She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Congregation Church, Mechanicsburg.  

Ruth loved being with her family and taking trips to Disney World.

She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, John F. Keeney, 2011; a son, Robert Keeney, 1962; granddaughter and great granddaughter, Jennifer and Tianna Seibert;  sister, Fern Fenstemacher; brothers, John, William and Robert Behney.

Surviving are her three children, Richard Keeney and his wife Theresa, Millersburg; Jane Keeney, Camp Hill and Dennis Keeney and his wife Kay, Shiremanstown; 10 grandchildren  3 great grandchildren.

A closed casket visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 11-11:45 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City.  Graveside services will follow at 12 noon from the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown with Pastor Rowland Foster.   In lieu of flowers donations in Ruth's name can be made to the Tabernacle Congregation Church, 1410 Good Hope Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.  To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
