Thomas F. Hoover, 82, of Williamstown passed away Wednesday, January 1st at UPMC - Pinnacle, Harrisburg.
Born in Lykens, May 6, 1937, a son of the late Clair and Catherine Pinkerton Hoover.
Tom was a retired carpenter and also worked for many years doing landscaping.
He enjoyed listening to oldies music and driving his truck throughout the valley. He could always be found cheering on the local sport teams.
Tom will be remembered for being a very social person and loved talking to anyone about anything.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Tom Hoover; siblings, Clair Hoover, Edward Hoover, Kathryn Davis, Brenda Shoop and Bonnie Gilibar.
Surviving are his wife Sharon Rhoades Hoover; his children, Nicole Hoover and her fiancé, Baron "Philly" Williams; Harrisburg; Bridget Shoop and her fiancé, Jason Fetterhoff, Lykens; Ronald Hoover, Harrisburg; Kevin Hoover and his wife Pat, and Doug Hoover, both of Tower City; Timothy Shoop, Lykens; step-daughter, Lisa Cobaugh; a brother, Richard Hoover, Williamstown; two sisters, Carol Kahler, Pillow; Winifred Neidig, Tremont. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews and friends.
