Wayne R. Leitzel, Sr., 68, of York, passed away Monday evening.

Born in Orwin, March 6, 1949, a son of the late Wayne and Marian Coleman Leitzel.

Wayne was a graduate of  Porter Tower High School.   He also served in the United States Army.

He was retired from Wagman Construction Company, York.

He was a member of Williamstown American Legion and the NRA.   Wayne  enjoyed spending time at hunting camp and took great pride in his 1969 Camaro.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Jason M. Leitzel, July 7, 1999.

Surviving are his son, Wayne R. Leitzel, Jr. and his fiancé Carol, Tower City.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Monday, July 24th at 10:00 am from St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.   In lieu of flowers donations in Wayne's name should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W.
