Alden Hinds Obituary

Alden W. Hinds, 81, of Tower City, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the UPMC - Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.

Born in Harrisburg, May 28, 1939, a son of the late Robert and Alice Hinds. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Alden was a retired custodian from the Central Dauphin School District.

He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Walkinshaw Hinds, August 19, 2017; sisters, Joan, June, Winfred and a brother Robert.

Surviving are his three daughters, Elaine Hinds, Lebanon; Alylson Judy, Duncannon and Kelly Maxwell, Tower City; 17 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Frances Walkinshaw, Tower City. Alden is survived by his two beloved dogs, Tearny and George.
