Anna Mae Romberger, 80, of Minersville, formerly of Tower City, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 17, 2025 at her home.
Born on June 22, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Beatrice Updegrove Boyer.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Anna Mae was a member of the Tower City American Legion Auxiliary. She loved going out and socializing.
She enjoyed making quilts, diamond art, and cooking. Anna Mae was an avid Elvis fan, and she had a large collection of Elvis memorabilia. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and she was always ready to go on her trips to the casino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Reed; two sisters, Carrie Boyer and Ruth Fetterhoff.
Surviving are her children, Dayne Scheib and Doug Romberger (Bonnie Yaeger); grandchildren, Dustin Scheib, Tiana Bryan, Christopher Scheib, Nico Romberger, and Keri Leitzel; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Pauline Valibus, Earl Boyer, Jeanette Salada, and Harold "Paul" Boyer; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gravesides services on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM from the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.
