Arron C. Sponsler, 26, a resident in a group home in Nanty-Glo, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, December 17, 2024 at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Born in Harrisburg on Friday, November 20, 1998, a beloved son of Wade and Michele Lamper Sponsler, Dauphin. He attended Upper Dauphin School District and graduated from Cambria County School District.
Arron loved his family with his whole heart. His family and support system in his group home were extremely important to him. Arron was a fan of the Washington Redskins, and he could spend hours swimming in the pool. He also enjoyed listening to music and singing - especially if it was Christmas music. Christmas was his absolute favorite holiday and he loved everything about the Christmas season.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Michael Lamper Sr.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Felicity Troy and her husband Cody, Palmyra; niece and nephew, Juniper Sueann Troy and Ellis Wade Troy; grandparents, Dave and Joyce Sponsler, Tower City, and Connie and Henry Fox, Lebanon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery. In honor of Arron's love for Christmas, please dress in Christmas attire.
A luncheon and time of fellowship will be held following the services at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton.
