Ashley M. Wilson

Ashley Marie Wilson, 39, of Millersburg passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Hershey Medical Center with her family by her side, following a courageous 7 year battle with pemphigus vulgaris.

Born in Harrisburg, March 9, 1985, the daughter of Randy and Wendy Stroup Confair, Millersburg. Ashley was a 2003 graduate of Millersburg Area High School. Following graduation, she attended Empire Beauty School where she became a licensed beautician.

Ashley worked as a hairdresser until changing occupations to her favorite job in the world - a stay-at-home mom. Her son Kingston was her pride and joy. There was not anything she would not do for her son, and she would always help with his school events, despite her health issues.

Her husband and family would refer to her as the "Captain of the House," a title she wore very proudly. She also had a huge heart for animals and enjoyed being a dog mom to Knox, Socks, and Dudley.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Samuel and Shirley Confair and Samuel Stroup.

Surviving are her husband and sweetheart since middle school, Brandon Wilson; her son, Kingston Wilson; her parents, Randy and Wendy Confair, Millersburg; her sister, Shelly Johns and her husband Chad, Elizabethville; her maternal grandmother, Donna Stroup, Millersburg; two nephews, Zackary and Dillon; one niece, Alyssa.

A Celebration of Ashley's Life will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City, with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at the Christ United Methodist Church.
