Barry L. Browne

Barry L. Browne, 61, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, April, 26th at the Hershey Medical Center with his family by his side.
 
Born in Salisbury, MD, August 1, 1957, a son of the late David and Helen Phlegar Browne.
 
Barry served his country with the United States Army for twenty years, which included working as an Army Recruiter. Following retirement from the Army, Barry began his career with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Case Manager with Department of Human Services.
 
He was of the Protestant faith. Barry enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Desautel and a brother, David Browne.
 
Surviving are his wife, Lynne McCready Browne; one son, Lou Browne (Carolyn), New Jersey, a step-daughter, Brandy Ney, Harrisburg. One brother, Steven Browne (Diana), Carlisle; two granddaughters he adored, Maria Ney, Lykens and Charlotte Browne, New Jersey. Nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Monica Romberger. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
