Billy R. Sterling, 66, of Elizabethville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his home.
Born in Waverly, Tennessee, on Sunday, September 13, 1959 a son of the late Joseph and Lois Oakley Sterling.
Billy was lifelong truck driver, where he received The Million Mile Safe Driving Award, recognizing professional drivers who log one million or more miles without an accident.
He could often be found watching old western shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Philip Sterling, and his daughter Alisha Blackburn.
He is survived by his four children, Benjamin Sterling, (Kimberly) Brush Prairie, Washington; Spencer Sterling, Elizabethville; Maddison Bingaman, Sunbury and Jordyn Strubhar (Jacob), Tower City. Three grandchildren, Jaylan, Kinsley and Noah.
