Bradley R. "Tulip" Artz, 71, of Orwin, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at his home where he resided for the past 53 years.
Born in Pottsville, December 31, 1952, a son of the late Leon and Ruth Hand Artz. He was a 1970 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
Tulip work for ZEMCO, Williamstown for over 20 years. Following his time at ZEMCO, he began working at Walmart, Elizabethville, when the store opened in 2007. He retired in 2021 on his 50th wedding anniversary to Rana.
He enjoyed working in his garden and watching racing and HGTV. He also like doing craft projects and flying model airplanes with his son Nathan. Tulip and Rana enjoyed collecting antiques, and he was a vendor at local antiques shops for several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Nathan Artz, March 21, 1997; a sister Sandy Miller, 2020; a brother-in-law, Carl Rothermel, 2003.
Surviving are his wife and soulmate of 53 years, Rana Heberling Artz; his daughter Heather Martin and her husband Billy, Tower City; a grandson, Nikolas Martin; a sister, Connie Rothermel; a brother-in-law, Roy Miller; his beloved dog and faithful companion, Hershey; two nephews, a niece, and numerous cousins.
Services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin. Viewing will be at the chapel from 10-11.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice Care for the care given to Tulip.
