Bryan M. Scott

Bryan M. Scott, 98, of Tower City, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital - East, Pottsville.

Born in Manchester, England on Friday, June 25, 1926, a son of the late Frank and Beatrice Riley Scott. Bryan served with the British Army. 

He was a retired lot manager with Pennsylvania Garage Incorporated. Following retirement, he worked at Walmart in the yard and garden section.

Bryan enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and was an avid reader. He had a special interest for history books. He also loved to listen to a variety of music,especially the bagpipes. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Joyce Gill Scott, 2017.

Surviving are his five children, Howard C. Scott and his wife Bonita, Palm Springs, CA, Philip A. Scott and his wife Karen, Merritt Island, FL, David R. Scott and his wife Kathy, Port Orchard, WA, Barry K. Scott and his wife Dawn, Mechanicsburg, and Eric N. Scott and his wife Lisa, Tower City; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.

Bryan will be laid to rest at the convenience of the family in the Methodist Cemetery, Muir.
