Bryan S. Wiest, 38, of Halifax, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home.
Bryan was born in Harrisburg, March 15, 1986.
He was a 2004 graduate of Halifax High School where he excelled at wrestling and was a state qualifier. He received his Bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University.
Bryan was a clinical specialist with Boston Scientific. He loved his job and enjoyed working closely with his peers in the medical field.
He was a member of David's Community Bible Church, Millersburg.
Bryan enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and practicing karate. His life revolved around his family. His wife and daughters were everything to him.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Brett, August 27, 2023; grandparents, Walter and Mildred Sierer and Lindy Samuel Wiest.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Katie Hassinger Wiest; his two daughters whom he adored, Emily and Ella; parents, Jeffrey Wiest (Laura) and Pamela Sierer Wilbert (Randy); a brother, Adam; a half-sister, Julia; his paternal grandmother Joan "Granny" Wiest; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beth and Jeffrey Hassinger; brother-in-law, Beau Hassinger (Casey); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Bryan's Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM from David's Community Bible Church, Millersburg, with his pastor, Allan Briggs officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. Bryan will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow in the church social hall.
