Charles L. Miller

Charles L. Miller, 83, of Tremont, passed away early Monday morning, December 30, 2024 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Charlie was born in Pottsville, August 17, 1941, a son of the late Charles H. and Minnie M. Gaskins Miller.  

He was a 1960 graduate of the former Tremont High School.

He worked in in the textile industry most of his life working at Chromalloy, Gilford Mills, and Craftex Mills.

He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Tremont.

Charlie will be fondly remembered for his love of playing the guitar and playing at local establishments in the Tremont area. Recently he got the guitar of his dreams, a Fender Stratocaster.   He will be missed by the staff and residents of the Tremont Health and Rehab whom he considered family. 

He is survived by several cousins.

Following Charlie's wishes he will be laid to rest beside his parents privately in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.
