Charles E. Taylor, Sr., 91, of Williamstown, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Polk Assistant Living, Millersburg.
Born in Zerbe, Twp., Northumberland County, March 21, 1931, a son of the late Lester Taylor and Leroy and Sarah Dietrich Huntzinger. Charlie was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was a retired supervisor in the engineering department of the former AMP, Inc., Williamstown.
A member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church, Williamstown American Legion and the Ashlar Lodge, #570 F&AM, Lykens.
Charlie was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Football. In his later years, he enjoyed watching television, especially Shark Tank. He always made sure to make his nightly phone calls to his family to check in on them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan C. Moss Taylor, 2016, his son, Charles "Charlie" Taylor, Jr. 2020 and a brother, Larry Huntzinger.
Surviving are his daughter-in-law; Deb Taylor, Williamstown, his grandchildren; Jason Taylor and Ashlee Deibert, three great grandchildren; Emilee, Drake and Lindsey Deibert. One brother, Craig Huntzinger (Jean), Millersburg.
Following Charlie's wishes he will be laid to rest privately in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
