Cheryl A. Strohecker, 63, of Halifax passed away peacefully, early Wednesday morning at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Harrisburg, Monday, October 1, 1962 a daughter of Janet Smeltz Strohecker and the late Larry Strohecker.
Cheryl was employed at Walmart, Elizabethville, for the past 17 years.
She enjoyed going shopping and spending time with her beloved dogs. Cheryl will be remembered for being a wonderful daughter, sister, and aunt. Her nieces and nephews meant the world to her.
Surviving are her mother, Janet Strohecker, Halifax; a brother, Darryl Strohecker and his wife Brenda, Elizabethville; a sister, Brenda Strohecker, Halifax; niece, Tanya Shappell and her husband Ryan, Millersburg; nephew, Jarid Strohecker and his wife Jessica, Halifax; great nieces and nephews, Tori and Trent Strohecker, Jayden, Jianna and Jaxon Shiffer and Harper Shappell; two aunts; one uncle; numerous cousins. Cheryl is also survived by her beloved furbaby, Bexley.
Cheryl will be laid to rest privately in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
