Cheyenne A. Thornton

Cheyenne Thornton, 25, of Williamstown, a smart, talented, loving soul, who wanted to fight her addiction for the sake of her children, unfortunately lost her battle on Friday, November 24, 2023. The reality of Cheyenne's death is devastating to all who knew her. In her short life here on Earth, she endured many struggles and tragedies. We pray she is now at peace.

She was born in Harrisburg on August 17, 1998, a daughter of Brenda Adley Thornton, Lykens, and the late Joseph Thornton who passed away in 2016.

Cheyenne attended the Williams Valley School District. 

She currently was employed at the Williamstown American Legion where she was a food and beverage server. She was grateful to her boss Jack, her customers, and her many friends she made while working there.

Cheyenne was as an artistic soul who loved painting and drawing. She also enjoying listening to music, with Kevin Gates being her favorite artist. She could often be found walking her dog Clyde on the trails behind her home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Thornton, a brother, Dominick Thornton, grandparents, Harry and Linda Adley.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two children, Violet and Noah Reinhard, Millersburg; her brother and sister, Dakota and Cherokee Thornton, Williamstown. Cheyenne is also survived by her husband, Zack McCollum, Arkansas.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service for Cheyenne on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
