Connie L. Ney

Connie L. Ney, 77, a lifelong resident of Williamstown (Dayton), passed away Wednesday morning, November 5, 2025 at her home.

Born on Tuesday, September 28, 1948, a daughter of the late Wallace and Laura Werdt Miller. Connie was a 1966 graduate of Williams Valley High School and a graduate of beauty school.

She worked as a cosmetologist with the former Marva Paul's Beauty Salon. Connie also worked for the former Shop-N-Play and the Dayton Market.

She was a member of the former Williamstown United Methodist Church.

Connie enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching the Hallmark channel and the Philadelphia Phillies. She could always be found cheering on her children at all their high school events. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace Miller. 

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Gary E. Ney, Sr; three children, Dawn Albright (Doug), Grantville, Gary Ney, Jr, Williamstown, and Dan Ney (Danielle), Florida; four grandchildren, Laura Beers, Kylie Machamer, and Joey and Harper Ney; one great granddaughter, Scarlett Beers; numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie will be laid to rest privately at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
