David E. Hockenberry

David E. Hockenberry, 72, of Lewisburg formerly of Newport, passed away peacefully Tuesday night, June 7, 2022 at Riverside Health Care and Rehab Center, Taylor, PA.
 
Born and raised in Millersburg, on May 8, 1950, a son of the late Paul and Mary Rowe Hockenberry. David was a graduate the Upper Dauphin Area High School.
 
He was retired from the former Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg where he worked in the sterilization department.
 
He was a faithful and active member of the First Church of God, Newport.
 
David enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and keyboard.
 
Surviving are his wife Rowena Royer Hockenberry; one brother, Daniel Hockenberry and his wife Wanda, Millersburg; a sister, Melody Hockenberry, Millersburg. Nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 am   from Reigles Bible Fellowship Church, 158 Reigles Church Road,  Millersburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from  10:30-11:00 am at the church.
