David M. Ober

David M. Ober, 74, of Grantville, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the home of his daughter in Tower City.
 
Born in Lebanon, February 17, 1947, a son of the late David and Grace Weaver Ober.
 
Dave owned and operated his own excavating business.
 
He attended church at the Family Harvest Mennonite Church, Fredericksburg. He enjoyed hunting, trapping and taking care of his many dogs he had over the years.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kayla Wertz.
 
Surviving are his two daughters, Justine Fetterhoff and her husband Mike, Tower City and Sonya Spicher, Williamstown; his grandchildren, Scott Wertz, Adrienne Fairburn, Lane Leitzel, Keith Hoy and Shelby Reed. Six great grandchildren; a sister, Glenda Fox, Grantville; several nieces and a nephew.
 
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10:00 am from the Family Harvest Mennonite Church. Memorial donations in his name can be made to Family Harvest Mennonite Church, 136 W. Main Street, Fredericksburg, PA 17026.
