Elizabeth K. Kraft

Elizabeth K. "Betty" Kraft,  81,  of Lykens, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Richmond Queens, NY, August 21, 1941 a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Pellinger Oldfield.

Betty was employed as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Long Island Jewish Hospital, Queens, NY. She also worked as Kidney Dialysis Technician in the Poconos and a Endoscopy Technician at Shore Memorial in New Jersey.

She was of the Catholic faith. Betty enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, shopping, and gambling. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her daughter.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Kraft, and a sister, Virginia Kopp.

Surviving are two children, Patricia A. Laszczyk (Steven), Lykens, and Edward P. Pliska (Sharon), Summers Point, New Jersey; a sister Ann Dwyer, Riverhead, New York; four grandchildren, Jason Pliska (Christopher Smith), Tampa, Florida, Christopher Pliska (Nadia), Stephen Pliska and Mya Pliska all of Danielson, Connecticut; five step grandchildren, Thomas Laszczyk, Tower City, Jessica Laszczyk, Philadelphia, Steven Laszczyk, Millersburg, Katrina Brown, Gratz, and Becky Campbell, Wiconisco; She was GGB (Great Grandma Betty) to 16 great grandchildren.

Following Betty's wishes there will be no formal services.

Betty's family would like to thank the staff at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center who took wonderful care of her these past several months, especially, Vicky, Joy, Kayla, Jordan, Sharon, Lenora and Steve.
