Elizabeth G. "Beth" Ricker, 73, of Klingerstown, passed away Tuesday evening, November 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by friends and family.
Beth was born in Williamstown on Sunday, January 13, 1952, a daughter of the late Marlin and Lucy Geist Esterline.
She was a graduate of the Williams Valley High School. She received her Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and her Master's degree from Shippensburg University. Beth dedicated her life to Psychiatric and Rehabilitation services. She was a long time employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where she worked as a Social Worker. Beth also served as a board member and Operations Manager with the Pennsylvania Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services. She was also a consultant with Roads To Recovery in Clearfield, PA, a non-profit organization providing peer support and recovery services for individuals with mental health and substance use challenges.
Beth was very active with the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fort Augusta Chapter and was instrumental in the erection of the Revolutionary War Patriot's Monument at Stone Valley Cemetery in Dalmatia, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Ricker; a brother, Jack Esterline; two sisters, Joyce Hartenstine and Connie McSurdy.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Ricker, Spring Glen; her daughter, Sarah Ricker, Austin, Texas; a sister, Carol Kraft, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Joanne Esterline, Williamstown; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Viewing will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the chapel. Beth will be laid to rest in the Williamstown Methodist Cemetery. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at the Williamstown American Legion.
