Elsie "Doll" Mae (Rudisill) Deitrich, 86, of Wiconisco went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
She was born on February 26, 1935 in Wiconisco, daughter of the late Harper and Anna (Miller) Rudisill. She was a 1952 graduate and Valedictorian of the former Wiconisco High School.
Elsie was a homemaker, she was a member, Treasurer for 66 years, Sunday School and Bible School teacher of the former Wesley United Methodist Church in Wiconisco and a current member of the Immanuel/Wesley Church, Loyalton. Elsie enjoyed gardening, bird watching, search-a-word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, soap operas, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, professional baseball and basketball, babysitting her grandchildren and watching them play sports. They were her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Hand and a brother Robert Rudisill.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Harold (Hop), whom she would have been married to 65 years on June 30. Five children, Terri Kulp, Wiconisco, Randy Deitrich (Linda), Lexington, KY, Curt Deitrich (Sheri), Wiconisco, Jill Deitrich, Wiconisco and Ann Reiner (Tom), Manheim. Eight grandchildren, Paul Kulp III, Lykens, Michael Kulp (fiancée Linda Van Sickle), Wiconisco, Matthew Deitrich, Nicholasville, KY, Tanya Reeder (Sean), Shelbyville, KY, Rebecca Johnson (Jesse), Louisville, KY, Shane Zellers (Tessa), Tower City, Kaila Deitrich (fiancé, Ryan Perry), Womelsdorf, and Isaiah Reiner, Manheim. Five great-grandchildren, Jacey Kulp, Carter Deitrich, London Reeder, Laeton and Lola Zellers. Sister, Barbara Coates, Wiconisco and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Rev. James Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco. Viewing will be Sunday from 6-8 pm and Monday from 10-11 from the Chapel of the funeral home.
