Faye H. Oxenrider, 76, of Millersburg, went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Mickey on Saturday, July 8, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Born in Barry Township, December 5, 1946, a daughter of the late Guy and Helen Troup Lucas. Faye was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School. Following graduation Faye joined the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War era.
Faye will be remembered for her love for her family and her Lord. She devoted her life to being a wife, mother and grandmother. She shared a special close bond to her sisters. Her family was the center of her world and there is nothing she would not do for them. Family was most important to her and Mickey and was always there to support each other.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg where she participated in the Bible Study class. Her strong faith in the Lord, was evident to those who knew her.
Faye has been reunited in heaven with her parents, her beloved husband Michael "Mickey" who passed away on December 17, 2020 after 52 years of marriage and her sister Doris Rauh in 2017.
Faye is survived by her three children, Lisa Miller, Laurie Birk and her husband Ted and Michael Oxenrider, Jr. and his wife Stephanie. Her beloved grandchildren, Megan Rhen, Shawn Croft, Jacob Cerro, Summer, Sierra and Caden Oxenrider, a great grandson, Ashton Croft; her three sisters, Mary Spardy, Leona Dunlop and Alice Raudenbush. Several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 am Saturday, July 15, 2023 from the Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg. Religious services will begin at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon and time of fellowship in the church hall. Burial will be at 2:00 pm in the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Faye's name should be made to the Grace U.M. Church, 982 Medical Road, Millersburg, PA 17061.
