Fred L. Wise

Fred L. Wise, 87, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Born in Reinerton, June 22, 1934, a son of the late Albert and Olive Mae Seiler Wise. Fred was a 1952 graduate of the former Porter Township High School. He was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean War Era.

Fred was a retired, self-employed, expert precision tool and die craftsman.

Hunter/marksman, wine maker, golfer and great machinist are a few titles to describe him. He was a lifetime Endowment member of the NRA and a staunch supporter of the second amendment. His wisdom and humor will be missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Wise and Stanley Wilfred Wise.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Judy Werdt Wise; a son, Jesse Wise and his companion Susan, Lewisburg; two grandchildren, Justin and Dillon Wise.  Several nieces and nephews.

Following Fred's wishes he will be laid to rest privately with military honors in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
