George M. Lodish, Jr., 65, of Muir, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Geisinger Medical Center.
Born in Lykens, July 15, 1955, a son of the late George Sr., and M. Shirley (Becker) Lodish.
George was a 1973 graduate of Williams Valley High School He was last employed as a heavy equipment operator at Pennsy Supply, Inc.
He was of the Catholic faith; a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Tower City. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether it was working in his garden, hunting or fishing. He could often be found wearing his signature cowboy hat. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth A. Berry Hoffman; two children, Jessica L. Lodish, Lebanon and Travis M. Lodish, Wellsville; step-daughter, Heather Hoffman, Muir; five grandchildren, Giovanni and Anthony Pacheco; Nina Lampkin; Dakota Adcock and Cheyenne Lehman.
Viewing be Sunday, October 11th from 2-4 pm at the chapel. Burial will be private. Please follow CDC guidelines.
