Gladys M. Trotman, 97, a lifelong resident of Williamstown, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024.
Gladys was born in Williamstown, on Wednesday, August 3, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Susan James Heberling. She was a 1945 graduate of the former Williamstown High School.
Gladys had worked as a payroll clerk in the local garment industry and was also a bank teller at the former Miners National Bank, Williamstown.
She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church and a former member of the Glen Chapter of the Eastern Star, #425, Lykens.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, John Trotman, 2002; a sister, Patricia Reitenbach; three brothers, John, Robert, and William Heberling.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Susan M. Trotman, Williamstown; two sisters, Cecelia Wise, Enola, and Judith Pishnery, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Glady will be laid to rest privately in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown with her pastor, Amanda Bressler officiating.
