Grace M. Miller, 83, of Elizabethville passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at her home.
Born in Lykens, February 14, 1939, a daughter of the late George Skelton and Helen Kiehl Klinger. Grace was a 1956 graduate of the former Lykens High School. She was also a graduate of St. Joseph Nursing School where she became a registered nurse.
She began her nursing career as a charge nurse with labor and delivery at the Holy Spirit Hospital. She retied from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Program Integrity Department.
She was a member of the Immanuel-Wesley United Methodist Church, Loyalton, the Order of Eastern Star, Glen Chapter, Lykens, the Red Hat Society, former member of the Elizabethville Lions Club Lioness and the Porter Tower Lions Club Lioness.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, trips on Ocean City Maryland and Florida. She also enjoyed taking cruises with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Miller, November 21, 2020.
Surviving are husband Eugene "Mush" Miller to whom they recently celebrated their 63rd anniversary, two children, Scott E. Miller and his wife Debbie, Williamstown and Barbara A. Hoffman and her husband, Randy, Florida; a sister, Constance Matter and her husband Donald, Florida, six grandchildren; Patrick, Roman, Cole, Kayla, Brynlee and Ariel, two great grandsons; Jackson and Greyson.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. at the chapel.
