Harold L. "Hank" Rudisill, 65, of Lykens, passed away Thursday, September 30th at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous fight against cancer.
Born in Lykens, May 10, 1956, a son of the late Harold and Esther Hernaez Rudisill. Hank was a 1974 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School. He was a retired wood worker supervisor at DLA Distribution Susq. operations division at the Naval Depot, Mechanicsburg.
He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens where he volunteered with the fish fry for many years. Helping people came natural to Hank, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, it could be volunteering at Lykens and Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, the Skip Program, or just being that person you knew you could always count on. He took great pride in his home where his talented carpentry skills where evident. He enjoyed cooking for his family, watching college football, especially Ohio State and Notre Dame.
The happiest times in his life were those spent with his family and being in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, trapping, archery or just walking in the mountains. His love for his family and hunting was second to none. He was a member of the Elbow Rock Sportsman Club and the NRA.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cyndi Bagdonis Rudisill; his daughter, Lexy Rudisill and her husband, Jon Neithercoat, Lykens; his siblings, Jane Hand, Lykens; Roberta Ruiz, Chicago; James Flanigan, Florida, Ken Rudisill and his wife Kendra, Millersburg, Dennis Rudisill and his wife Sue, Harrisburg. Nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens with Rev. Michael Opoki, AJ as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory can be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 732 Main Street, Lykens, PA 17048 or Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
