Horace E. "Bud" Brandenberger, Jr., 79, of Lykens, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, due to injuries sustained in automobile accident in Porter Township.
Born in Warminster, March 23, 1942 a son of the late Horace Brandenberger, Sr. and Lillian Snowden Stevens.
He was a retired truck driver with Quaker State.
Bud and his family had a great passion for horses, they have rescued and rehabbed horses for many years while living in Gratz. He will be remembered as being a country western fan and always dressed the part.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Brandenberger of Berrysburg.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth A. Whyno Brandenberger; six children, Scott, Kitty and Charlie McIntosh all of Florida; Ginger Buchanon, TN; William Brandenberger, New York and Victoria Brandenberger, Lykens; three step-children, Johnny Adams, Philadelphia, Charles Whyno, Wiconisco and Isaac Shultz, Millersburg; four sisters, Loretta Able, Sherry Vandergrift and Helen Helstrom all of Quakertown; Viola Endrick, Warminster. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Lykens United Methodist Church, 527 N. Second Street, Lykens, with Rev. Lori Betsworth officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the church. Burial will be private in Bucks County.
