Jack L. Boyer

Jack L. Boyer, 84, of Williamstown, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his daughter's home in Harrisburg.

Born in Williamstown, November 29, 1938, a son of the late John and Esther Machamer Boyer. Jack was a 1956 graduate of Williamstown High School.

He was a retired die repairman from AMP/Tyco.

Jack was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City, where he served as a trustee. He was the unofficial cook at the church, where he oversaw all the food fundraisers. He was especially known for his soup sales. Jack was also a member of the Williamstown American Legion and the Williamstown Fire Company.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rae Carl Spittle Boyer, 2012; two sisters, Shirley Nolte and Merle Thompson; a stepson, Lynn Spittle.

Surviving are his children, Jackie Seiger, Minersville, John Boyer, Williamstown, Lisa Stansfield, Millersburg, and Amy Muggio, Harrisburg; a stepson, Gary Spittle, Tower City; a sister, Faye Thompson, Mechanicsburg; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Christ United Methodist Church with his pastor, Annette Shutt officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the church. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow.
