Janet A. Miller, 87, of Klingerstown, passed away Monday morning, November 18, 2024 at St. Lukes - Geisinger Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Janet was born in Klingerstown on Thursday, April 15, 1937 a daughter of the late William and Alverna Updegrave Miller.
She was employed in the garment industry for many years. Following the closing of the factory, she worked and retired from Michael's Foods.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Janet was a social member of the Erdman Sportsman Club and a auxiliary member of the Gratz VFW.
She enjoyed socializing with her friends and was always up for a good game of euchre.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Charles, Junior, and Irvin Miller; three sisters, Dora Schade, Bernice Deibert, and Helen Headings.
She is survived by numerous nephews and nieces, including Donna Strohecker of Millersburg, who was Janet's caregiver; great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.
