Janice D. Schaeffer

Janice D. Schaeffer, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 16, 2024 at the Clearmont Nursing Home, Carlisle.

Born in Tower City, May 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Young Ludwig.

While living in her apartment in Schuylkill Haven, Janice made some lifelong friends who were like family to her, and she could often be found playing bingo with them.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Schaeffer; three sons, Edward, James and Kenneth Schaeffer.

Surviving are sons, Ronald, Robert, Harold and Lester Schaeffer; one brother, Harold Ludwig.

Graveside services will he held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 3:00 pm from the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
