Jeffrey Snyder Obituary

Jeffrey H. Snyder, 56, formerly of Lykens, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Born in Harrisburg on Wednesday, October 2, 1968, Jeff was the son of Evelyn Paul Snyder, Lykens, and the late Harold Snyder, who passed away on February 21, 2024.

He was a 1987 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School. He also graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College with a degree in drafting.

Jeff was most recently employed at Carlisle SynTec Systems as a draftsman. He previously worked for the United States Postal Service as the Berrysburg Postmaster.

He was a member of the former Sons of the American Legion, Lykens Post 124.

Jeff will be remembered by his soft spoken personality, mild mannerism, and intelligence. His love for drawing and artistic ability made him an accomplished draftsman. From being a grill master to cooking in the kitchen, Jeff learned to be an excellent cook from his mom. While living in Lykens, he could often be found taking his daily walks through town, especially back to the Glen. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Penn State and Michigan Football.

In addition to his mother Evelyn, he is survived by his twin daughters, Autumn Snyder, York, and Brooke Malnick and her husband Jonathan, Tower City; a son, Maxwell Snyder, Camp Hill; a grandson, Banks; a brother, Brad Snyder, Lykens; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Following Jeff's wishes, there will be no formal services.

The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Tower City, is honored to serve Jeff's family.
