Joan Pribilla, 93, formerly of Williamstown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 24, 2024. She brought smiles, joy, and laughter to all she met with her quick witted humor, and hilarious story telling, along with her love of living life.
Her passion for exploration of North America and all its national parks took her on many amazing adventures with her two daughters whom treasure those experiences, with there unique minded mother. Joan was an avid hiker and enjoyed swimming, bicycling & amusement parks. Her favorite ride being tower of terror.
She worked as a desk clerk manager in the hotel industry and in her retired years she worked for Sea World, entertaining gift shop patrons.
She was born in Williamstown Pennsylvania, but her love of sunshine, Mickey Mouse, and Shamu took her to Kissimmee, Florida, where she lived most of her life.
Joan is survived by her 2 sons Eugene Pribilla & John Pribilla and 2 daughters Julie Gomez de Molina & Ann Hungerford and her 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene G. Pribilla.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady Help of Christian Parish, Lykens. Visitation will be from 10-11 in the church. Joan will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown.
