John A. Kurtanick, Jr., 79, of Williamstown, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home.
Born in Long Branch, NJ, on February 28, 1942, a son of the late John and Carrie Britton Kurtanick.
John was a retired self employed carpenter.
He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens; the Knights of Columbus, Lykens. He was a member, former Vice President and tanker truck driver with Liberty Hose Company #1, Williamstown; a member of the Wiconisco Fire Company and the Porter Tower Lions Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Ralph.
Surviving are his wife Nancy Stout Kurtanick; children, Kim, Kelly, Anthony and Jennifer, step-children; Sandy, Michelle and Joseph. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John will be laid to rest privately in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery, Williamstown.
